Bentley Motors has been recognised as a UK Top Employer for the 15th consecutive year, following an assessment of its workplace culture, people strategy and investment in skills and development.

The certification was awarded by the Top Employers Institute, an international organisation that benchmarks HR practices across 131 countries. The assessment is based on an annual survey, covering areas including people strategy, learning and development, work environment, talent acquisition and DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging).

Bentley Motors, which is headquartered in Crewe and employs more than 4,000 people, recorded strong performance across multiple measures. The company said it achieved benchmark scores in DEIB, as well as learning and development. It also reported industry-leading scores in colleague wellbeing as part of the assessment.

The Top Employer recognition comes amid ongoing change within the automotive sector, including the transition to electric vehicles and evolving skills requirements. Bentley highlighted its EV learning programmes, inclusive leadership initiatives and production academies as part of its approach to future skills development.

Commenting on the recognition, Dr Karen Lange, member of the board for people and culture at Bentley Motors, said: “For more than a century, Bentley’s success has been built on the strength and spirit of our people and alongside this, we are committed to offering an inclusive and high performance workplace so we can attract and retain top talent. Through continuous learning and development, we provide our colleagues with the tools and opportunities to grow, take care of their wellbeing, and foster career longevity.

“Being recognised again is a tribute to the resilience our colleagues show every day adapting with purpose, supporting one another and keeping our standards exceptional, no matter the challenge.”

The company linked the recognition to its Beyond100+ strategy, which sets out its longer-term ambitions around transformation, sustainability and the future of mobility, including plans to become exclusively electric from 2035.
