AJ Products has announced a £1,000 scholarship for UK university students to support ideas that improve wellbeing and happiness at work.

The initiative forms part of AJ Products’ long-standing commitment to creating better workplaces. The company, which supplies products for offices, schools, warehouses and industrial facilities, has been designing ergonomic and sustainable workspaces across Europe for 50 years. Its goal is to support environments where people can thrive, or, as the business describes it, to create “Happiness at Work.”

Ideas could range from product innovations to workplace initiatives or changes to building design. Applicants are asked to link their ideas to personal experience, study, or a problem they have observed in the workplace.

Applications will be judged on their potential to improve working environments, the degree of innovation and practical benefit, and the applicant’s ability to explain the background behind their idea. Creativity will be valued more highly than grammatical accuracy.

AJ Products said the scholarship is part of its broader mission to help the next generation of talent rethink how workplaces are designed.
