Companies House recognised for exemplary workplace culture with top award

Companies House has received the highest accreditation for workplace wellbeing from Investors in People.
The government agency was awarded platinum status in the We Invest in Wellbeing framework, following a detailed review of its culture. The assessment included staff engagement, interviews, focus groups, meeting observations and surveys.
Platinum is the top level available, recognising organisations that make outstanding efforts to support the social, physical and psychological wellbeing of their people.
Louise Smyth, Chief Executive of Companies House, said the award reflects the commitment staff bring to creating a positive and supportive workplace.
As I reach the end of my time as chief executive, I do so with immense confidence for the future of this organisation,”
She said. Whilst Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, added:
“Platinum accreditation places Companies House among organisations that understand the value of wellbeing.”
The recognition follows Companies House’s platinum award for We Invest in People in 2023. The agency is currently creating hundreds of posts as part of its digital transformation and legislative reform.
