Broadstone publishes second UK employee benefits landscape report

Broadstone has published its second UK Employee Benefits Landscape report, outlining how employers are reshaping benefits packages in response to workforce expectations, economic pressures and regulatory change.
The report highlights three themes shaping the market: rising demand for flexible and personalised benefits, continued pressure on employers to support financial wellbeing, and a shift towards technology that enables employees to better understand and use what is available to them.
Broadstone says employers are increasingly focused on data to understand whether benefits are used and valued. This includes closer monitoring of take-up, cost and effectiveness, as firms look to balance affordability with competitive packages.
The report also notes growth in health and wellbeing provision. Employers are expanding mental health support and access to healthcare, alongside interest in preventative services, as sickness absence continues to rise across many sectors.
Commenting on the findings, David Pugh, Managing Director of Employee Benefits Consulting at Broadstone, said the report shows how “the employee benefits landscape continues to evolve at pace”, adding that organisations need “clarity, insight and technical expertise” to ensure benefits meet business and workforce needs.
Broadstone says it produced the report to help employers benchmark their approach, plan for regulatory developments and track trends in wellbeing, financial resilience and reward.
