Health technology company SitFyt aims to tackle sedentary working through movement-focused desk technology

A UK health technology company is looking to address the growing health risks associated with sedentary and screen-based working through movement-focused workplace technology designed for hybrid and remote employees.
VRGO Ltd, the company behind SitFyt, says its platform combines patented sensors, clinical insight and behavioural design to help employees improve posture, movement and energy levels throughout the working day.
The business looks to tackle growing workplace health concerns around sedentary behaviour, musculoskeletal strain and the long-term impact of static working patterns, particularly as hybrid and remote working continue to reshape how employees spend their days.
SitFyt is designed to encourage what the company describes as “effortless daily movement”, helping workers build healthier movement habits without requiring significant changes to routine or workflow.
The company argues that, while workplace wellbeing strategies have expanded significantly in recent years, physical movement and posture are still often overlooked within broader workforce health discussions.
The launch comes amid increasing attention on the health implications of prolonged sitting, with occupational health specialists and workplace wellbeing experts warning that sedentary working may contribute to musculoskeletal issues, fatigue and reduced concentration over time.
VRGO Ltd said its wider mission is to help transform desks from static workstations into environments that better support long-term employee health and sustainable performance.
