Zurich launches digital platform to streamline employee wellbeing support

Zurich Corporate Risk has launched Zurich Plus, a digital platform and app designed to make it easier for employees to access health and wellbeing services available under their group risk policies.

The platform, powered by Onsi, consolidates a wide range of services in one place – from mental health resources and suicide prevention support to cancer care and eldercare advice. By giving employees direct access, Zurich aims to reduce confusion, improve engagement with benefits and ensure that staff can access help when they need it.

Employee benefits packages often contain valuable support services, but many go unused because employees are unaware of them or find it difficult to navigate multiple providers. Zurich Plus addresses this by providing a “one-stop shop” for wellbeing resources, helping to prevent health concerns from escalating and reducing stress for both employees and employers.

Cindy Warden, head of Zurich Corporate Risk, said:

“Zurich Plus will give employees a one-stop shop for all the health and wellbeing services we provide access to and make life easier for companies and their employees. Onsi have a wealth of experience in delivering technology solutions for employee benefits, and we will continue to work closely in partnership to further develop the breadth of services available.”

Employees using Zurich Plus can access:

  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering confidential advice and counselling
  • Virtual GP consultations
  • Precision Cancer Care and Reframe Cancer Care support services
  • Eldercare guidance
  • Second Medical Opinion service
  • Suicide Prevention toolkit
  • Mental wellbeing resources

Zurich developed the service in collaboration with Onsi, a technology company specialising in employee benefits. Anthony Beilin, chief executive of Onsi, said:

“Our collaboration with Zurich marks an exciting step forward in redefining how employee benefits are experienced. We’re building a simpler, intuitive, and more engaging way for employers to support their teams. By focusing on personalisation and clarity, we’re enabling individuals to strengthen their wellbeing and feel more confident about the future of work.”

The launch comes as more employers seek digital-first solutions to support staff wellbeing. Hybrid and remote working patterns have increased demand for accessible, on-demand health support, while rising mental health concerns and pressures on the NHS have underscored the role of workplace benefits.

By consolidating services in one platform, Zurich Plus reflects a wider industry shift towards integration, personalisation and preventative health. For employers, the platform also offers a way to boost employee engagement, helping ensure that wellbeing benefits are understood, valued and used.

Zurich said the partnership with Onsi will continue to evolve, with further services expected to be added over time. The launch reinforces its commitment to making workplace wellbeing support easier to access and more effective in promoting healthier, more resilient workforces.
