Universal Floral achieves carbon neutral certification for UK operations

Workplace biophilic design specialist Universal Floral has achieved Carbon Neutral Certification for its UK operations after measuring its emissions and offsetting more than its calculated carbon footprint.

The company, which provides plant displays, moss walls and living walls for corporate workplaces, offset 25.3 tonnes of CO₂e against a total measured carbon footprint of 17.5 tonnes between May 2025 and April 2026.

The certification, awarded in partnership with Carbon Neutral Britain, comes as organisations increasingly consider both employee wellbeing and environmental sustainability in decisions about workplace design and the built environment.

Marie Caffrey, CEO of Universal Floral, said: “Partnering with Carbon Neutral Britain™ to measure and offset our carbon emissions in the UK marks an important step on our sustainability journey.”

The company said it is taking steps to reduce these emissions alongside offsetting its existing footprint..

The development has a wider relevance to workplace health and wellbeing as employers increasingly consider how the physical workplace can support both people and environmental goals.
