Allianz Partners strengthens health division with four senior appointments

Allianz Partners has made four senior appointments across its health business as it looks to accelerate growth and strengthen its position in the corporate health and employee benefits market.
The appointments form part of the insurer’s move towards a segment-led operating model, designed to improve client service, enhance commercial performance and support growth across global and regional markets.
Marco Fattori has been appointed Global Lead – Corporate Employee Benefits. He will be responsible for the global employee benefits strategy, overseeing sales and account management activities across key regions and supporting relationships with multinational clients and brokers.
Fattori joined Allianz Global Benefits in 2014 after starting his career within Allianz SE’s Group HR function. Most recently, he served as Head of Employee Benefits Tender Management.
Gordon Delaney joins Allianz Partners as Global Lead – Corporate International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI). He will lead the corporate IPMI segment, focusing on growth, commercial performance and pipeline development.
Delaney joins from Cigna Healthcare, where he was Sales Director for the International Organisations division. He brings more than 20 years’ experience in international health insurance, having also held senior roles at Axa Global Healthcare and Allianz Partners.
In Europe, Cyril Samson has been appointed Employee Benefits Segment Sales Lead. He will oversee the delivery of products and services for multinational clients, manage strategic accounts and lead broker management activities across the region.
Samson has spent more than two decades within the employee benefits sector and most recently led sales and account management teams supporting multinational clients across risk and personal solutions at Allianz Global Benefits.
Meanwhile, Paul Hogan has been named Senior Sales Manager, leading Employee Benefits Segment Sales in the UK. His role will focus on executing Allianz Partners’ UK employee benefits sales strategy, developing broker relationships and driving new business opportunities.
Hogan joined Allianz in 2017 and has held several senior roles within the organisation’s international health business. He brings almost 20 years of experience spanning international health, reinsurance and commercial insurance.
Commenting on the appointments, David Myers, Global Head of Sales and Key Account Management at Allianz Partners, said: “Our focus moving forward is on how we deliver, orchestrate and leverage the full strength of Allianz through a segment-led approach.
“This will enable us to elevate Allianz as a true one-stop-shop for health and benefits brokers and clients, ensuring a consistent, scalable and unique proposition across all markets.”
The appointments come as insurers and employee benefits providers continue to invest in specialist health and wellbeing capabilities amid growing employer demand for integrated workforce health solutions.
